What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer support over the phone, building trust and rapport with each caller
- Clearly explain complex pension topics in a friendly, easy-to-understand manner
- Help customers feel confident and informed about their retirement options
- Act as the first point of contact, ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a telephony environment, particularly within a regulated sector
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Natural desire to assist others with a calm and logical problem-solving approach
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of pension schemes or financial services
- Prior experience working in customer service within a regulated industry
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in customer service or call center roles
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex information with clarity and professionalism
Other Requirements:
- Must reside within a commutable distance of Edinburgh
- Willingness to work onsite full-time in Edinburgh (EH12)
- This is a 4- to 5-month initial contract, offering £150 per day (inside IR35, via umbrella)
