Who is this programme for?

Brokers work alongside underwriters and other insurance professionals to facilitate the negotiation of risk relating to insurance policies. The role requires the ability to analyse data, compile complex information (whilst adhering to regulatory controls) and liaise with a range of stakeholders, clients, internal and external colleagues.

This programme is aimed at those entering the insurance market and progressing to a qualified Junior Broker. This programme is tailored for:

The learning is wrapped around and incorporates daily work, this is supplemented by ‘off the job’ development, which on average accounts for 6 hours per week (completed within paid time). Entry Requirements
  • To have the right to work in the UK
  • To have lived in the UK/EEA continuously for the past three years
  • At least a grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • To have passed the Davies aptitude test
