About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading legal services provider, for an experienced Fast Track File Handler to join their Claims Management team in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse and engaging caseload of litigated Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims for high-profile corporate and insurance clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services, working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of litigated EL and PL claims valued up to £25,000.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Assess liability and quantum, and provide strategic advice.
- Identify key areas for investigation and gather supporting evidence.
- Handle disclosure and prepare detailed witness statements.
- Coordinate expert evidence and liaise with relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations and client service standards.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.
About you
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience handling litigated EL and PL cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
- Proficiency in IT and experience using case management systems.
- Adaptable and proactive approach to achieving client-focused results.
