The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting business performance, and helping to build scalable processes as the organisation continues to grow.
This role offers excellent development potential, with scope to take on increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Support and lead elements of the month-end close process
- Assist with financial reporting in line with IFRS and UK GAAP
- Contribute to group reporting and consolidation activities
Planning & Analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Deliver variance analysis and performance insights
- Assist in preparing reporting packs for senior stakeholders
Controls & Process Improvement
- Support the strengthening of financial controls and processes
- Assist with audit preparation and year-end activities
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
Systems & Operations
- Work with finance systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
- Support ongoing improvements in financial processes and automation
- Collaborate with wider business teams to ensure accurate financial data
About You
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in financial reporting, month-end, or management accounts
- Exposure to IFRS or UK GAAP
- Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools is advantageous
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to develop
