Our client, a leading legal services provider, are looking to appoint an experienced Multi Track File Handler to join their Corporate Risk Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a thriving Corporate Sector Risks Practice, managing a diverse caseload of multi-track Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims for high-profile clients.

The successful candidate will handle both delegated and non-delegated claims, primarily litigated, with values typically ranging from £25,000 to £100,000. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for a confident and strategic legal professional.
 
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of multi-track EL/PL claims, including some pre-litigation matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Assessing liability and quantum, whilst providing strategic legal advice.
  • Attending court hearings, settlement conferences, and trials as required.

About you
The ideal candidate will have proven experience handling multi-track EL/PL claims, with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure; possess a high level of analytical thinking and attention to detail, with strong communication, negotiation, and client care skills; be a confident decision-maker with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, whilst meeting performance targets for chargeable hours, WIP, and client MI.
