Are you a highly organised and analytical individual with a keen eye for detail? We’re seeking a Transactional Claims Analyst to join our Global Shared Services Centre in Ipswich. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate calculation and processing of transactional items, focusing on rules-based, low-risk claims and contracts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team that provides essential processing services across various international markets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Accurately and efficiently calculate and process inwards and/or outwards transactional claims and contracts in accordance with agreed processes and claims segmentation rules.
  • Assist other Global Shared Services Centre teams with queries in a timely and professional manner, communicating effectively via email, Teams, or face-to-face meetings.
  • Process requests for letter of credit creation, increases, withdrawals, and cancellations, as well as bonds, following established procedures.
  • Provide process and claims support to other business units to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to projects involving the Global Shared Services Centre, ensuring efficient and effective integration while respecting timelines and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members, offering support and demonstrating adaptability and flexibility by covering different portfolios, geographical markets, or types of reinsurance based on business urgency.

What We’re Looking For:Technical Skills:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of various classes of insurance and reinsurance business.
  • Preferable: Technical reinsurance experience, including calculation of figures in key reinsurance types (e.g., Excess of Loss, Quota Share, Surplus) and major markets (e.g., USA, Continental Europe, London Market).
  • Preferable: Insurance claims handling experience.
